We built The Lynx for those who want the weightless strength of a Titanium and Purple Wood Wedding Band without the fragility of untreated timber. I’ve seen enough wood rings fail at the bench to know that a simple surface oil just won't cut it for daily wear. To prevent the wood from reacting to humidity, we use Purple Box Elder Burl that has undergone a multi-stage vacuum-stabilization. By pulling air out of the wood fibers and replacing it with a medical-grade resin, we ensure the material is virtually hydrophobic and structurally sound.
