Named for Demeter, goddess of the harvest and the turning of the seasons, this ring pairs two materials that could not have traveled further to meet — iron born in deep space, and wood grown from the earth.

The inlay sets genuine meteorite against vibrant purple stabilized maple. The meteorite fragment carries the crystalline Widmanstätten pattern that forms only over billions of years in the cold of space, while the maple brings a deep violet grain that shifts as it catches the light. Because both materials are cut from natural stock, no two Demeter rings are ever identical.

Both inlays are seated in a solid Grade 5 Titanium core — the same aerospace-grade alloy used in jet engines. It is exceptionally strong, completely hypoallergenic, and light enough that you stop noticing you're wearing it. The wood is vacuum-stabilized before setting, and both inlays are sealed beneath a marine-grade protective resin, making the ring waterproof and ready for daily wear.

Common Questions

Is the meteorite genuine?

Yes. Every Demeter contains authentic meteorite, cut from solid stock so the natural crystalline pattern is preserved in each ring.

Can the ring get wet?

Yes. Both the meteorite and the wood are sealed under marine-grade resin, so everyday water contact is not a problem. We recommend removing it for swimming, as chlorine is hard on any resin seal.

Will the wood crack or fade?

The maple is vacuum-stabilized before it is set, which fills the grain and prevents the splitting and swelling that affect untreated wood. Sealed inside a titanium core, it is built to last.
