Why Sourcing Matters: Morrison Formation and Gibeon Meteorite

The bone fragments we use come from the Morrison Formation in the USA. We pair this fossilized "gembone" with shavings from Gibeon meteorite. Meteorite is high in iron, which means it’s prone to oxidation if it isn't sealed perfectly. By vacuum-sealing these iron-nickel fragments alongside the bone, we lock out the oxygen. This fusion creates a wearable artifact that has a real "heft" to it—much like our high-density tungsten rings, that weight is something you’ll notice immediately compared to lighter options like titanium.

Precision Geometry and Daily Wear

We machine every band with a specific comfort-fit interior. This slight dome on the inside of the ring reduces skin friction, which is important when you're dealing with a metal as heavy as tungsten. It is a small but vital detail that prevents the band from "biting" into the finger during physical activity or when your hands swell in the heat.
